Bridget Cavaiola Stone is a seasoned leader in arts education with over 20 years of experience in classroom instruction, teacher professional development, and arts administration. Based in San Diego, she is an educator, improviser, and facilitator, specializing in theater and communication strategies for both children and adults. As the Director of Learning and Engagement at La Jolla Playhouse, she leads initiatives to foster creative learning experiences reaching over 30,000 San Diego students and adults each year. 

Previously, Bridget served as a Master Teaching Artist with Arts for Learning San Diego, La Jolla Playhouse, and San Diego Junior Theatre. She currently performs and teaches with Finest City Improv. Bridget's background also includes roles as Education Director for the Baltimore Improv Group and Teaching Artist for Young Audiences of Maryland.

Her experience in education extends to teaching high school English and theater in Baltimore County Public Schools (MD), where she earned credentials in Secondary English, Theatre, and Administration. Bridget is a graduate of the Young Audiences of Maryland Teaching Artist Institute and is extensively trained in inclusion, professional development, and arts integration. She holds a Master’s degree in Communicating in Contemporary Cultures and has taught as adjunct faculty at various community colleges.
